Virtual Program and Online Auction

Our first-ever FREE virtual event on Saturday, November 21 at 7 p.m. will begin with a segment of a popular popular St. Louis Chef Gerard Craft preparing one of his favorite meals. The ingredients and full menu will be shared with guests prior to the event so they can cook along with the chef. Throughout the rest of the night, speakers and celebrity guests can share the message of the mission while preparing their meals. You will have opportunity to bid on auction items starting on November 16th. That means you can bid on our auction items from the comfort of your own home. You'll also hear from a person with ALS and their family and learn how your support through our fund a need auction makes a difference in their quality of live each day. Raise a glass with us—from your favorite chair—and follow along with our emcee and chef for a fun night of bidding.

How to Participate in the Virtual Program

Click on the livestream button above when the event goes live on Saturday, November 21 at 7 p.m. We recommend you tune in with 2 devices (computer or tablet and cell phone) or open 2 tabs on your computer. This will allow you to watch the livestream program and bid using your cell phone in the mobile bidding platform during the event. In order to use mobile bidding to bid on auction items, you will need to register here (there is no fee to participate in the auction or virtual program). You can register before the auction opens to preview items and make sure you are familiar with the site. Once you register, you will receive a "welcome" text with your bidder link that will allow you to preview items and then bid when the auction opens on Monday, November 16th at 6 p.m. The auction will close on Monday, November 23rd at 6 p.m.

How to Mobile Bid with Greater Giving Online Bidding

1. Register your mobile number and credit card information on our registration page in advance of the event or upon arrival.

2. When the auction is open, you will receive an automated ‘Welcome’ text with your bidder link.

3. After clicking the link in the text, begin searching for packages by name, number, or category

4. Select the package you wish to bid on.

5. You can Bid the next increment or Bid More than the next increment

6. If you choose to Bid More you can choose to set your Max Bid. If your max bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in your favor until you are outbid or until the silent auction closes. If your bid is lower than the highest max bid on that package, you will be prompted to enter a higher bid.

7. To purchase a package at the Buy Now price, select the Buy button.

8. To "watch" a package, select the star icon on the package.

9. To make a donation, select the Donation button on your home screen and choose a preset amount or select the Custom Amount button to enter the amount you wish to donate.

10. If you’re out-bid at any point before the silent auction closes, you will receive a text message.

11. To view packages you are bidding on, click the menu button and select Bids.

12. To view packages you are watching, click the menu button and select Favorites.

13. Once the auction closes, the guest with the highest bid will win.

14. Under the Bids area you can check your winning packages.
